ABIS's  Free Headache Diary software is easy to install and use.

Installation.  After you selected "download".  A dialog box will appear prompting you to run or save the zip file. Choose "save" and select the location where you want the zip file to be stored.  You will need a zip file program such as WinZip to unpack the file.

After unpacking the file.  Click on "headache diary" and a dialog box requesting a password will appear.  Enter the password and click "save".  Remember to obtain your password by completing the ABIS email.  The email contact can be found on the  Software page.

Install program.  An install program will run and ask the location to store the Headache Diary program.  After you have made your choice follow the instructions found on the install shield.  You will have a choice of placing a shortcut icon on your desktop.

Open Headache Diary program.  If you chose to install a short cut on your desktop you will notice the Headache Diary icon; it is an "open page with a pen nib".  Right click the Headache Diary icon, select "open".  Be patient!  It will take 30 or so seconds for the program to load.  The home page of headacheanalyzer.com will open.  At the top left of the page select the "home" tab and the first diary page will open.  In the menu ribbon at the top left select "new".  A new record will appear.  It is empty and on this page you will make your first week's entries.

Calendar entries.  The entry page has a series of text boxes.  Enter your name and the week beginning (select the pull down tab to display the current monthly calendar).  Make an appropriate entry for every day of the week in each of the text boxes.  Use the notes page to make detailed entries on headache episodes.  Save your work by clicking "save" in the upper left ribbon.
